I opened up the wall, I found, that when Barbara had patched the stucco, she had packed the wall with packing foam and pieces of plastic baseboard molding. I don't think that she will be using kindling to fill the walls in the future. There was no burnt wiring. Philip

Thanks, for the offer, it won't necessary. Everything is back to were it was before the fire. I just need to wire two outlets that are in the garage behind the panel.

I have had a few ask, so here is the latest. Everything is fixed, no wiring damage beyond what I was planning to replace. Now I have a 20 amp 240 volt, 30 amp 240 volt and a duplex with a 20 amp 120 volt and a 15 amp GFCI 120 volt, all on the garage wall behind and below the electrical panel. On to the next project. One more time, if you don't own a fire extinguisher, buy one now, if you have a two story house buy two. The life you save could be your own.

i carry a fire extinguisher in my car and also have one in the home ... it's like carrying a condom with you ... cause when there is a fire ... u wanna be safe
