I LOVE LOVE LOVE this show! I haven't seen last night's episode yet. I can't wait to see it tonight.

Last week was hilarious! The way the crazy mother tried to get Wanda to kill the lawyer. LOL I couldn't stop laughing when Wanda handed the gun to Bill inside the courthouse.

I can't believe all you guys watch Big Love

Guilty as charged. I like when she flipped out on wife #3 for saying a hail mary. That was a riot.

Rabbit, Thats what I never got when I was a kid growing up a JW, the cross is to remind us that Jesus died for our sins, why would that offend anyone?

Even recently, I've found myself criticizing, especially the Catholic cross (with Jebus on it) to my wife (never-a-dub). But, after seeing 'Nikki' react like that...I realized I still have a ways to go to rid myself of JW thinking.

I think the WT cult's idea was to put a little more division between 'us' ...and the world. And it's an effective one...I remember so many talks where the elder would say, "If your loved one was murdered, would you wear a symbol of the weapon used to kill them ? " It's something disgusting you can picture in your mind, then look down your 'holier than thou' nose at those "evil worldly people."

It's one of those cult lessons hard to let go of...I consider myself open-minded, but, obviously not enough to 'allow' someone to use their own choice of an icon, to remember and honor something important to them.

Still learning, I am... Jedi Rabbit

I cracked up when I saw Nikki's knee-jerk reaction to the rosary. It was so a flashback to witness thinking! I just got into the show this season and am loving it.

Caligirl, I heard that my Nazi JW aunt say that she would burn up all my grandma's crucifixes, I thought at first well thats typical, then I thought didn't the KKK used to do that kind of stuff??? humm JW & KKK have a lot in common.

One of my all time favorite shows!!! I don't know if Bill will take another wife - he might take a lover. We don't know if the woman is LDS or if polygamy is her choice but the two are flirting so he's obviously in lust. I thought it interesting that he took off his wedding ring - I mean, if you are proud to be 'married' and 'head' of so many wives, then why take off your ring and try to fool someone into a relationship with you - even if it's getting to know you better? That's both hypocritical and dishonest as well as sleazy. I was liking Bill up to that point.

What I find really enlightening and most interesting about the show, is the relationship between the women. The marriage between the women is closer in bond than their relationship between their husband. Remember when Margene told Barb that if Barb left she didnt' know if she could stay in the marriage? Nicki believes that marriage is a fulfillment of duty and not to be confused with love. I find that bond very interesting.

i just now watched the episode.

she ripped that cross out of her sons hands as if it were a lit piece of dynamite.

there are so many jw paralells in that show it either horrifies me or amuses me to no end.

The show is great. I liked Bill in the beginning I think enough to not judge these people for practicing polygamy. But somewhere along the way I started realizing he is selfish. He only thinks about himself and he wraps it up in "I'm doing this for my family."

I think this new storyline (potentially a fourth wife) of his is going to get pretty good. I loved the end when Margene goes to the restaurant to check the lady our.

It is true the wives do seem closer to each other than their husband.
