I heard about this and want to verify if any of you know about this.

    Here's the link:

    https://www.ccjw.org

All it is is a portal to enter in congregation time - I did it for our hall up until about 7 months ago when I stepped down as an elder and started my fade and eventual quick exit...

Lett also implied it is better to be a plumber than a computer science programmer.

Perhaps they used a Bethel plumber to write the web page code for the Watchtower sites?

Lett is intellectually dishonest person, that is why he rose so high in the Watchtower organization.

    ccjw.org is directed to jw.org.

Could they be two names for the same server?

Yep, it's a simple web site redirect - I got the link because I still have it bookmarked in my browser.

My concern is if there are personal information such as name, address, telephone numbers that are stored on that site because any site can be easily hacked if one has the right tools.

    icyestrm,

Elders do not load such personal information to that web site.

All that goes there are numbers - how many publishers in the congregation, how many total hours for the month, how many copies of the "Bible Teach" book does the congregation want to order, etc. All information is entered at the total congregation level - no personal information at all.

The Society doesn't give 2 figs about any individual member of any congregation - unless he is disfellowshipped, is an elder, MS, or pioneer, or wants to contribute large sums of money. Then they are interested in personal details!

LOL - This is similar to the Watchtower speaking out against university educations and advanced degrees. A very interesting stance to take, given the fact that they have no problem puting JW lawyers and doctors to use at headquarters. What if every single JW had actually obeyed the "Slave" and not gotten a university education? Perhaps they would have had to hire someone like Alan Dershowitz to fight their pedophile lawsuits for them.
