Quite true, but again, some manuscripts read the number as being six hundred sixteen. Go figure. What is your opinion as to the information I provided above?

***Seriously though, I'm not sure what to think...I'm afraid that I don't have an abundance of wisdom. What I've been thinking about it is that the 666 represents man trying to prove to be something of his own creation rather than God's. The sixth day was the completion of God's work that He had created for the purpose of creating. The seventh day is His day of rest. The 666 represents man who has not rested from his own works. I've never heard of 616 being used...where can I find this info?
