I think it would be safe to say that most people do not want to die when that time comes...yet, I wonder, how many people have really taken a hard cold look at the prospect of living forever...life without end. Wouldn't there come some point in time when insanity would set in....boredom would drive you over the edge. I think you would go mad and want to kill yourself...
Any thoughts?
I don't know if i would like to live FOREVER in this kind of world.
It would get boring to a certain point in time and it would be great to see many generations than just maybe 2.
I'm happy just trying to live in this one and hope that i will last long enough to see my kids grow up and one day have their own.
Its more sad on families when loved ones die but i guess it gives us good or maybe bad memories of a person.
Could you imgaine if we all lived from the day adam was created (if you believe that theory) and how populated the earth would be now!!!!
we would have no room.
And the technology could you imagine all the stages...WOW....

Given the right circumstances...I think I could go on forever.
So long as there was an influx of new people and technology. I'd eventually forget what I did a million years ago, and doing it again would be just as fun :P .
I don't want to live forever. I live each day, hour, minute as though it was my last. I try different things, learn something new everday!
Living forever is something from my past, instilled by the JW religion. It was a fantasy and I enjoy living in the real life world better. Never did like farytales much

I think what I would want is the ability to live as long as I want to. Whenever life got too boring / too painful / too whatever to continue, I'd like the opportunity to "pull the plug", as it were. And at that point, go to sleep, or join some sort of universal consciousness, or whatever comes next.
That said, I think I'd like to keep going a few thousand years, at least!

My thoughts are the following. This is my favorite theory explaining our exhistence.
We are God or sons of God. We are spirits having material experiences. We are the God conciousness fragmented into individuals from Humans to earth worms and vegetables and rocks. When we finish our exhistence on this planet we go back to our paradisaic home and dwell in bliss until the insanity sets in. Then we book ourselves a trip to the pleasure planet. And there are all different catagories and time frames to pick from. You can book a scare the pants off you trip or relaxing watch the grass grow trip. And we made this place so when we materialized we wouldnt be able to figure out whats going on. And whenever we think we figure it out, someone else will come along and show us contrary facts.
I could probably come up with 10 more theories explaining our exhistence but this is number 1. Evolution is number 10.
