Saw the clip of the guy running over the dog today - fortunately both were unhurt - the bike was a mess though!
That's about all I've seen or heard of it this year. Pathetic that it's not on terrestrial tv any more, not that I have a tv anyway lol!

I'm watching it when I can. This years is so different from years past so many young new riders I don't hardly reconginze any of the names or teams either.
I am watching Cadel Evens with much hope that he wins if not this year he should be up in the top 5. I watched him win the World Cup Mountain Biking Race in 1999 at Big Bear, CA. He's an awesome rider and I was so hoping he would switch to road racing it's a good move for him. I've had him in my radar for a long time I hope he does good in the Tour de France this year and for years to come.
I couldn't believe the speed on the downhill in today's race over 60mph! Whew, way too fast on a bike for me, LOL as if.

We were watching the recaps last night since Monday was a rest day.
Did anybody happen to see the fan dressed as Borat?
He was running along wearing that bizarre "shoulder to man boulder" thong thingee. Ewwww.
It never ceases to amaze me that the general unwashed public is allowed arm's length access to these world class athletes.
But, if my wife and I ever make it to watch in person, that's what I'll look forward to.
