I've just emailed the letter to the Northern Territories newspapers. I'm yet to hear anything about these payouts on the Oz media at all. I hear plenty about the Catholic's though. I have been contacting various media over the last few weeks, no luck yet. Maybe a few more Aussies could help with this?

Amazing how they can convince people that they don't have the same problems as other churches . They actually do take medication and stuff for depression but yet will claim they aren't plagued by depression and only the Amish people are because they don't know the joy of the preaching work or some such crappola. The WTBTS main complaint was that the CC would not do anything such as DF those guilty of child molestation but would cover it up and move priests around to new parishes without saying a thing . Of course we know they do pretty much the same thing and often times not even moving people so the innocent victims are forced to move if they wish to remain good dubbies and talk to their friends and family. Pretty disgusting they are alright.

There was an article in my local newspaper the other day about the settlement from the Catholic religion, I in turn wrote my local paper and told them that the problem does not lie just on Catholics but also on Jehovahs Witnesses. Lets see where it takes the issue.

I emailed our local NBC affiliate the link to the story and emailed CNN with a story idea. My husband was watching the Catholic Church story on CNN the other night and I wanted to scream at him that his crazy sect was just as guility!!!! But I knew I'd only get the "they're human" argument! Keep getting the story out there guys!

I tried searching on Google News 'jehovah's witness child abuse lawsuits' and nothing came up at all. Could someone please direct me to direct others.
