Just got off the phone with an old Bethel connection. The public talk will soon be cut to 30 minutes. The outlines will stay the same. Each speaker will eliminate what ever they want.
The J-Dubs are dying of boredom and bad speaker fatigue......

It will still be boring, even if they cut it to 5 minutes, and
I doubt the "public" will flock in to hear it any more than
they do now.
The outlines will stay the same. Each speaker will eliminate what ever they want.
We all know that's just temporary. Give the speakers time to adjust because
the Mother Organization will tell them what to put in to the new 30-minute program.
Control-control-control. Still, it could be interesting for awhile to see old fogeys
eliminating the scriptures so they can fit their personal stories in there.
I wonder if any effort will be made to make it more "Public." Most of the talks now seem specifically geared towards JW's, with very little to interest the public.
how long is the watchtower study now? the theo/serv meeting? the book study?
I've been saying that this should happen for years. In Business training or seminars no one would sit listening to one man speak for 45mins because no one would be able to stay focused for that period.
Give me 20 minutes?

Does that mean the weekend meetings will be only 90 minutes in all? It's all down to the low quality of the material presented to the audiences they have run out of steam their inspiration and creativity have long ceased and hopefully this will help them realise that the "god inspired FDS" concept is nothing but a myth.
