it says that you get $1 for every 5 people you refer.. that is the only way they are going to get anyone to join. The good witnesses are all out in service and the bad ones have myspace. So maybe if they pay people someone might join.

What a boring website. What on earth is there to discuss in a forum of faithful Watchtower Witnesses? It's not like anyone would be allowed to question doctrines or say anything that might be considered "independent thinking". What could be said?

"Hi Ted, hows the weather there in Peoria - LOL"

"Oh, it's nice. When's your convention?"

"Next month, on the 14th. Say, did you see that plane crash in Brazil?"

"Yeah I did - it was terrible. I tell you, this system of things is coming to an end soon."

I bet that is going to be the wimpiest Web site on the whole Internet. And, if anyone does try to liven it up, they are going to get banned from it (if the administrators remain faithful to the Tower). Anyone in for bets as to how long it takes the administrators to buckle in and change the forum to a general discussion board and site similar to JWD?

And, even if someone is faithful when they sign up, there is nothing to stop them from turning apostate after they are on. All it takes is for them to stumble on one apostate Web site or for something to happen to them at the Kingdumb Hell to wake them up, and then they start posting apostate blogs and posts on the forum. And, with only 28 members signed in, it is not going to be very effective as a tool to reach out and help anyone either to join or to defect (I checked it out as a guest, and could not get very far).

I bet that forum is going to be so wimpy when it "matures" that it is a waste of server space. They only had 33 members as of 2 AM July 20. MySpace, by comparison, has more than 175 million. There are no real activities there. There are maybe 2 dozen pictures (all dull, one of them that pukefaced Ted Jaracz!) and only a grand total of (get this) one post on the forum! Obviously I did not sign on as a member.

That site is not going to last in its present format. What usually happens is that they become so lifeless as anything people want to do there can be done at the Kingdumb Hell, the hounders hound those who are partaking of such activities to stop, or the board administrator will modify the forum so anyone with JW experiences can join. If that happens, the apostates will be joining in droves and then the board will start to take on new life. Failing the allowance of apostates, that board is going to simply sit there stagnant, wasting server space.
