There's truth in that statement

I used to quote samurai philosophy "Today is a good day to die" and in some respects still adhere to it. After all, today may well be the last day on this earth so live it as such.

But any self respecting samurai wouldn't have approved of my particular lifestyle and probably would've taken offense to my bastardization of their code of ethics.

These days though, it's less about the self and decadance and more about others and duty towards honoring life, in a sense.

I want to be freeze dried, mounted on a metal post and planted in the lawn with some plastic flamingoes. If I was rich it would be a condition of inheritance for my heirs - if they wanted the house they would have to keep me on display. mrs flipper
