AuldSoul, glad you are back to being yourself. I have received much from JWD in the short time I have been here and will continue to stay; so, that I can give a little back.

As an active JW there is a very good reason "to keep doing this".

    News!

Where else can you get the scoop on every new change and adjustment from the Society (oops...I meant FDS...new change).

Accurant news of 30 minute talks, secret WTs, new releases, DC audio and video all funnels through this site. Proof that the org is rotting from the inside and hordes of silent observers check in to see what's new. Speculation and commentary abound as well.

    Thank you all!

In the grand scheme of things, it is not that important.

In the "grand scheme," of course it isn't. It wasn't important a million years ago; it wasn't important before 1878. A million years hence it will probably be unimportant again.

But in this time, in this place, it is important. It is important now because it offers a lifeline, a possibility of normality to those enslaved in a mind-control cult. Once liberated, those former captives will be free to fulfill their potential and free to be happy without bowing to the whim of some imaginary "faithful and discreet slave" and their sockpuppet god, Jehovah.

I agree it's important. I have gained a lot from this site, and hope that I can be of at least a little assistance to others. I think the free exchange of ideas and information is too important to let slide.

    Thank you AuldSoul.

Thank you to JWD, that means all of you.

Everyone contributes in a unique way.

Add it all up and we see both the wreckage left in the wake of the cult and hope for semi-normal, whatever that is, existence in reality.
