What is the new belief on 607

Hello this is my first post here, I have been away from anything related to the JW for about 8 years (yeay). I was wondering if anyone had info or direct me to some links about this 607 (date?) I've been reading about. I did hear about them applying for UN membership, and was somewhat shocked. I have also read the "secret" elders book that was posted here, thank you for that is was great. Just reaffirms why I got the heck outta dodge.

There's no new belief on 607 BCE. The WTS still holds to that date as Jerusalem's destruction by the Babylonians, thus linking it to 1914 and their organizational history.
