No one wants to think that they are gulible.
Explaining to non-members how anyone can be "tricked" into joining a mind-control cult can be
just as difficult as convincing a JW that it is a mind-control cult.
About the best I have to offer on that (besides "Read the book") is that the best salesman is the
one who believes in his product. JW's are thoroughly convinced that you need to be a JW.
If it helps you, even though I praise COMBATTING CULT MIND CONTROL,
the author came out of a mind-control cult, and educated himself on how they
work, but shortly before writing this book, he still didn't believe that JW's were
fitting the definition of a mind-control cult. When you read the book, JW's
clearly fit the definition.
We are going to get much frustration convincing anybody if a so-called expert
had to be convinced.
