Aja....Steely Dan
Oh wow...that takes me back. I have it on vinyl. Great album.
I've noticed that several posters mention Led Zeppelin 4 as a favorite. Makes me feel good, because I had ordered it not too long ago from BMG and expect it any day now. The only Led Zeppelin CD I have is "In Through the Out Door," which is pretty good.
sixsixsixtynine-- I don't think I'll ever get tired of listening to that Brian Eno album. Easily one of his best.
Mr. Flipper-- I've got some greatest hits albums that are stupendous! I already mentioned the Carpenters. I've also got the Bee Gees- "Their Greatest Hits - The Record," Eagles- "The Very Best of," and Foreigner- "Complete Greatest Hits." I once had "A Young Person's Guide to King Crimson" 2 LP album which was great, especially with all of the album artwork and a large (by today's standards) booklet. Alas, I no longer have any records.

Thanks folks for your replies. I'll tally everything up on Friday, see who was popular.
Mad Tiger- Don't worry. No one's holding a gun to your head. We're just havin' fun here.
Dagney- Steely Dan, liked them a lot. Love " The Fez" and " Kid Charlemagne". Great songs.
Primate Dave- Lots of Zeppelin fans here.Me too. I have a little of King Crimson's greatest hits, I know nvrgnbk is a big Crimson fan
The Court of the Crimson King The rusted chains of prison moons
Are shattered by the sun.
I walk a road, horizons change
The tournament's begun.
The purple piper plays his tune,
The choir softly sing;
Three lullabies in an ancient tongue,
For the court of the Crimson King.
The keeper of the city keys
Put shutters on the dreams.
I wait outside the pilgrim's door
With insufficient schemes.
The black queen chants
the funeral march,
The cracked brass bells will ring;
To summon back the fire witch
To the court of the Crimson King.
The gardener plants an evergreen
Whilst trampling on a flower.
I chase the wind of a prism ship
To taste the sweet and sour.
The pattern juggler lifts his hand;
The orchestra begin.
As slowly turns the grinding wheel
In the court of the Crimson King.
On soft grey mornings widows cry
The wise men share a joke;
I run to grasp divining signs
To satisfy the hoax.
The yellow jester does not play
But gently pulls the strings
And smiles as the puppets dance
In the court of the Crimson King.
