Please diagnose my pain. I've got places to go, people to see.

The bridge of my nose HURTS. I can't even touch my skin. It hurts on the sides and on the top. The top hurts half-way down my nose. For 3 days my nose has hurt. It has gotten worse today. It hurts when I wrinkle my nose, or raise my eyebrows. Tonight my forehead and frontal lobe hurts also.

I have never had allergies. The only sinus problems have been when I have a cold. Haven't had a cold in 3+ months.

Apostafest tomorrow, and vacation to Colorado starts Sunday. The internet isn't any help. I can't read any more big words. One website I tried was Wrong Diagnosis. It lead me in circles. My head hurts worse.

I need a diagnosis and cure.

PEC, I really don't want to spend alot of money. I know that somebody here has experienced the same thing, and can give me a cure.

And this topic doesn't belong in the humor category. Lord knows this pain isn't funny. But the thread I was reading before I posted mine was.

Sounds like you may have a sinus inffection....they are not fun...if you can go see you Doctor for a proper diagnosis...usually an antibiotic will clear it up...fairly quick...at any rate don't mess around...have yourself looked at...

I second that! Had a few sinus infections myself, so I feel your pain...do you also have body aches, fever,chills? antibiotics should clear it up fast...take some ibuprofen (if you can) for the pain in the mean time!

Thanks Quenten and Eclipse, I don't have any other symptoms. (I don't think) My head hurts so bad I can hardly think. It's weird to think that it all started with the bridge of my nose.

Hi, hl. Are you able to breathe okay? My daughter just had sinus surgery after years of debilitating headaches. Her sinuses were swollen so that the air passages were significantly narrowed. I hope your present condition doesn't become chronic. Even if you don't want to go to a clinic or a doctor, you really should. It'll cost less in the long run.

I am going to third the sinus infection theory, Were you guys having the same nasty rainy weather we had for so long? down your way. if so it could be nasty mold? ( I will PM some thoughts). if I voice a perscription/therapy for something you might want to try, and someone else does it and they get all stupid from it then I get yelled out and so-on and so-forth.

My husband (a provider in the medical field) says that if your pain is as severe as you say, you really should go see a physician. Do you have someone who can drive you to the hospital ER if you would not be able to drive yourself?

Let us know if you figure this out. Severe headaches can mean a lot of different things...

Maybe you hurt your nose with the mask. Have you tried an ice pack? That part of the nose is cartilage - cartilage can get hurt and heal slowly. Try an ice pack in a towel so you don't get frost bite, see if it helps. If it does, then you know what to do. If it doesn't, then you need to go to the doctor.
