a jw's couple bought a restaurant , relatively nice one too, here in town
so i am doing my part in spreading the good news about how my son, a member of their church, had his assembly here in my town 3 weekends ago and was not allowed to talk to me due to my no longer beign a jw (and my shop is 2 blocks from the arena they had their assembly in)
i have not spoken with him in 8 years

It's strange, I never heard of dubs running a restaurant. You did well to give vent to and expose the anguish the devious cult caused you, they fully deserve all the bad publicity you give them.
There was a restaurant in Florida that my JW grandparents loved to eat at. They said it was owned by a couple in their congregation. The funny thing is this restaurant allowed smoking, when most of the other restaurants in the area were smoke free. You would think a JW restaurant would be smoke free.
Be sure if you eat there to leave a tract for a tip....lmao

So greendawn you have never heard of jw's owning restaurants? I've heard of some back when I was in. There was a couple who owned their own restaurants and there was one in particular that owned a couple of McDonald's franchises in 2 different towns.
Fair warning: Anyone going into this place should have a good set of headphones with some real music going. There is a good chance that they have a bunch of Kingdumb S*** going on the intercom, and you want to drown it out. I bet that is one store that isn't going to get decorated for Christmas or start playing Christmas music when it gets in season, especially if the music is independent.
