Leaving a towel on one stops you from using it? Heck, if I was waiting on a machine, the towel would be on the floor, or in the trash, depending on which is more convenient.

Some of my pet peeves were mentioned. How bout the group that moves together like four of them and use a station for say a half hour. Its usually that early bird group that knows everybody at the gym.
How bout the guy that brings notebooks, two towels, mp3 player, phone clipped to his belt, wrist wraps, construction gloves, big gallon jug of whatever. Then he looks around to see who's watching him.
Then he catches you looking at him, and he doesn't realize your really laughing at him. LOL
How bout the women of large carriage that somehow think spandex makes them look a little thinner. Im not getting on large people going to the gym, I give them credit. But lets dress a little more appropriate.
I'll use two machines at once but Im very aware if someone wants to get into some sets with me.
Come to think of it the gyms kinda like the mall, if anyone should ever feel intimidated about going to a fitness club/gym. DONT You'll be amazed at what you see.

And the arrogant ones - one came over once to my husband when he finished a set on some machine, and said "now let ME show you the right way to do this."
Thats funny, It reminds me of when I was doing shoulder shrugs on a machine and this guy and girl were next to me, he was about my size, 6'2, 240 she looked like a dancer. I think somehow he felt a little threatened ( I could care less) He starts with the big boy act lookin for 45 plates. I guess he was to busy watching me to see if I was watching her...he then start to take plates off of my machine.
She has to tell him " I think he's using them" she lookled at me and we chuckeled.
