What if you have leeches that only eat the proper blood fractions?

My mom had diabetes and was prone to foot wounds that would not heal . I am pretty sure the wound center she went to treated her with leech theraphy , the critters are good at eating the diseased flesh . I'm glad she had a bad memory, and had forgotten what this article said about it , because she was good at blindly following the watchtowers ill advice . The leech therapy saved her foot !

However, though leeches parasitically feed on blood in their natural state at present, it would not be proper for a Christian to permit leeches to draw his blood. .................. "At present " is this to suggest they didn't suck blood in the past ? Like lions ate grass , and sharks ate kelp when they were first created ?

Leeches are used to consume poisoned and contaminated bloos and flesh not for the good stuff. What is this about barbers poles. You mean JWs cannot have hair cuts at barbers that have barbers poles?

I vaguely remember seeing that at the time when I was "in" and thinking that they had gone off their trolley, I thought that if ever it occurred I would look the other way (probably literally as well!)
the use of leeches would involve deliberately feeding blood to these creatures.
So , what about every thing that we feed pets with? Should we make enquiries as to cat and dog food is made from bled carcasses? my understanding is that it certainly is not. I know of dubs that keep reptiles that are fed on live food, would that not be wrong?
This is getting silly . what did Jesus say about those who strain out the dill and the cummin but ignore the weightier matters of the law ,"justice mercy and faithfulness"?

Excuse me, I have to make a phone call:
"Hello, is this the lab? Okay, remember that blood sample you got from me back in 1987? What did you do with the leftovers? Nevermind why, I just need to know! No, you can keep the stool sample. Unless I get some new light."

WHY, do they print this crap? Bloody uneducated idiots. Leeches are still invaluable in improving circulation in re-attached limbs/digits (after surgery).
