Anyone going to the Burning man fest this year?

Hi Avishai. Are you going? Have you gone before? I would love to go, but with my foot nailed to the floor of my cell I can only move in this bloody circle.
If a person was going to go, what does he need to take personal responsibility for? What survival essentials does he need and what can he expect to be provided for him by Invisible Friends?
To me Burning Man stands as a monument to how little of the world I am part of, and I don't mean that in a good way. To compensate I tell people I was a roadie for Spinal Tap.

wow I would have loved to go had I more time to plan it out. Is it always in August every year?

Damn, it's tempting to go. I'm going to think about it the next couple of weeks.
I've always wanted to go ever since I saw a tv report about it. I think it was the diversity of people and how everyone accepted eachother regardless of how odd or strange they seemed.

I have never went, but have friends who have gone.
On the surface, it seems interesting.
As an event professional, I have researched some of the former staff's opinions on the current "Governing Body," and they are basically describing the Society turn to the darkside.
If you don't volunteer, you'll be OK. Try to help, and you might be disappointed. -
