yeah, my first thought was to ask them, "is this what field service has come to? Mighty comfortable." I imagine they were counting time.

I'm so proud of you. It was worth it even to have your groceries fry in the car, but I hope they didn't! What's weird for me is that I know some of the people referred to here in "Your Apostate Field Service."

(I can't honestly say EXACTLY the same thing, but I DID go to a convention in 1973, so I'm going to modify it the next time I run into some dubs. Of course, they probably WILL know me, around here... Mwahhahahahahahhaaaa!)

I had forgotten about it until someone brought it up on another thread and I remembered that I was there. I remember how we felt, how we buzzed about it. And now here it is, more than 30 years later, and the preaching work is still "almost over."
