No, I think more "races" will be acknowledged as one.
EEO questions just now offer a choice of "Two or more races".
This country is all about divisions.

It depends on your perspective. And how long you are going to live to see it. I work in a diversified enviroment so I see the differences dissapear. I am white, I cant tell any difference between myself and my black co-workers as to how we view things, how we eat, what we watch on tv or the movies.
I suspect there never was a difference, just economic opportunity or lack of it.
I would say it would be a positive development. Life has enough problems we have to deal with. We dont need to be fighting about the amount or lack of melanin in our skin.
I think many confuse "race" with "culture."
The ghost of Adolf is gonna get you Nvr!!!

The ghost of Adolf is gonna get you Nvr!!!
The Führer can bite me! LOL!
I think that it is a possibility, given enough time.
As to whether I think it would be a positive change, or a negative one, I'm really not sure.
Food for thought though.
I'm going to be a stinker and say no on this one.
The truth is that the majority of children that are born on this earth come from individuals whose come from the same genealogy and ethnicity. The biggest growing populations in the world including China, India, Pakistan, and others show that such is the case.
We are seeing more of a blend in western cultures, but I doubt this ever would encompass the globe. Segregation still exists in the west, even though it can be very unnoticeable.
Interesting thoughts, drew.
But what about when Chinindia takes over North America?
Hmmmmmmmm?
LOL!

Of course!
In my small circle of family and aquaintances there are more races mixed than not. Until my generation the only mix of race was the Nat-ive Americans in my own family tree (that were 'hidden' until 2 years ago!). None in my husbands family. I have a son of mixed race, 2 sis in laws have 1/2 white/black children, older sons friends are 3/4 from mixed families, and my blond white son was one of only 4 'white' kids in his classroom of 20 (most were mixed, except the mexican americans who are defacto mixed already) My neices and nephews? 6 have children, one does not have a child of mixed race. Most of the blacks I know have various races mixed in, asian, white, hispanic. The exception would be some of the more recent immigrants, from the middle east, africa and asia (and some of THEM are mixed also). I live on the west coast. For some reason, I think there is more 'mixing' here. Anyone else notice that we have the best looking people??:) I think it will be harder to classify ourselves as anything but being of the 'human' race. Too many variations to 'classify' anymore.
