What is your opinion of these experiences?

Right on, Open Mind! Also, if you check, you will find these same exact experiences repeated in every religion. I was a Witness when I came across that fact, and even then realized that these experiences were no indication of anything special.

My opinion is that the WTS is an org directed by demonic angels who are masquerading as angels of light. The R&F JWs of course do not realise that the angels associated with the WTS and directing them when they go out to preach are in fact demonic angels, they can not perceive that what they (wrongly) believe to be God's own organisation could possibly be directed by demons, as it always was.

Yet the darkness and the cruelty of the FDS is there for all to see.

    I agree with S4

i've heard Mormons, Catholics, born again, they all have same experiences and they all feel somehow God was there for them.

No one blames God when nasty things happens to all of these religious freaks.

They all excuse God by saying "It's God's will".

    That makes me barf

    It's called a coincidence.

And what about the people that are suicidal and pray for help but don't get it and they end up killing themselves?

People believe what they want to believe,

Stuff happens. Good stuff, bad stuff. No biggie.

This happened in 1982 in Mississippi. Mom and I were on the beach. She was sitting at the edge where the shoulder of the road meets the sand. She had been praying, and within a minute or two a carload of JW's pulled up and asked if they could help her, she thanked them politely but said she had just been praying and everything was OK. Now my Mom was disfellowshpped, and supposedly "Jehovah" doesnt even hear her prayers, or maybe that was before the "new light? Did God change his mind? It was a creepy experience. I should have told Dad about it, he always taught me that disfellowshipped people couldn't even pray, if that's the case then I wonder who or what led them JW's to her? Makes you wonder.

Did you believe it as well, or did you always view it as coincidence if it happened to you or when we read about it in the literature? Any other thoughts?

I probably believed it between 72 and 75 January 1976 I was running out of belief.

Steven Hassan; who was a very active recruiter on college campuses in the Unification Church (Moonies) discussed similar instances. In his book "Combatting Cult Mind Control", Hassan relates that he had prayed fervently before receiving whay he beleived to be a sign pointing him to the Moonies. He also relates how he had met several people in the group who stated that they had been praying for guidance shortly prior to being contacted by a Moonie recruiter.

If the angels are directing the the JW preaching work, one wonders why they did not route a JW to find one of those college students who were praying for guidance. Oh, that's right, there are NO JWs in college!
