My sis-in-law is moving on to a new place, doesn't want to take any of her old books with her.

Looking for ideas of what to do with them. Besides throwing them away (that's obvious!), what other suggestions do you have?

And, if anybody here WANTS something specific (she's got the pioneer book, etc.) let me know, and we'll try to get it to you.

One idea: box them all up, postage due, and send them to NY with a contribution refund request. :-)

Does she have anything going back to Russell or Rutherford?

It's funny, because LDB and I just boxed up all the rest of our dub books/tapes/cd's today. Taking up space and collecting dust, besides the fact that they were one of the first things you'd see when you come into our bedroom! Anyway, they're doomed for the trash, unless anyone wants anything. Atlantis requested a couple of things last time I mentioned the books. If anyone is looking for anything, I also have some stuff. Here's a basic idea of what we've got:

    JW's, Proclaimers of God's Kingdom

    TMS book

    Reasoning books

    1987, 1990, 1991 WT bound volumes (I think)

Bible Story book (also on cassette tape)

    Listen to the Great Teacher

    Live Forever books

Several of some of the more recent new books released at the DCs

    Lots of NWTs

    Songbooks

Other miscellaneous stuff. If there's something you're looking for, let me know. I don't have any old stuff. The oldest publication I have is the United in Worship book.

No thanks! Don't want any, not interested. ( Oh my god!, did I say I'm not interested!?) Bad householder, bad householder!!! Your first suggestion was the best. Just throw them away

whatever you do, please dont landfill them....rip the hard covers/spines off and throw the paper into a recycling bin....maybe a local school has a recycling collector bin on their parking lot (some churches do too..how ironic that would be)

Wouldn't mind the Insight books if anyone has some going spare.

Some of these may be of value and people try to sell them on e-bay otherwise if nobody wants them they usually get thrown in the garbage bins or get tossed into the fire. Because there is nothing worthwhile in them, it's all mind conditioning and unstable doctrine that is for ever changing.
