A person who is more intelligent than me makes a better ally than opponent.

The debate analysis originally caught my attention because many of the Witnesses I know are "right" fighters. They virtually never looked for common ground, their goal was to convince me they are "right". If they fail that, typically they dispense with me in short order.

I was trained as a "right fighter". It's a hard defect to overcome and home is a really bad place to practice the power of persuasion.
