Athens Alabama at least gives you the opportunity to vote, you can vote for or against it, despite what the church leaders say, and nobody knows what you are voting for, only you.
The governing body not only says dont vote, but if we catch you doing it, we will turn your family against you.

I was trying to be sarcastic. Change that to "where do they think they live? A democracy?" and my point may be a little better made. My point being that if they want to go try they have a right to.

Will we ever be rid of ignorant hicks? This reminds me of one JW belief that I hold very dear. The idea that all religion will be destroyed. I can't think of a better thing to happen to this planet. MMMMM... Please Lord let it come to pass!!!!!

If it wasnt for some of those so called "ignorant hicks", then I probably would be dead this very day. Those "ignorant hicks" were the only sense of stability in my life that was stifled by a cult.
