.....Thanks for all the well wish`s,you guys are Awesome!!.........I just got back from the doctor..It was a lady doctor..She said I had a swollen hand..I knew that before I got there..LOL!!.......Then she taped two fingers together..And..Gave me pain killers the size of a nickle..I`ll need pain killers,to swallow the frigg`n huge pain killers she gave me!..LOL!!.......Then she told me I should have a prostate exam..Did she really think sticking her finger up my ass,was going to cheer me up??..LOL!!..On the other hand it would be the closest thing I`ve had to a date in awhile..LOL!!........At the end of it all I was charged $45.00........45 frigg`n dollars for something I could have done at home,without someone wanting to stick their finger in my bum..LOL!!..Now there`s a bargain!!.....................ex-nj-jw..Do I want a spanking?..You`ll have to do better than that..The doctor wants to check my prostate..I`d say that raises the bar a little..LOL!!...OUTLAW

I think female doctors like to sticking their finger up guys ass'. My doctor started doing an annual DRE at 40, the recommended DRE starts at 50, WTF. Next physical I am taking a printout of cancer screening guidelines with me and she isn't going to do a DRE.
I hope you hand is better, also your ass.

My heart "jumped" at your son's words - he was right to be concerned and a prostrate exam aside, you "did good" by going to a doctor (though I am not sure it shoulda been the one you went to - LOL!). Sounds like a couple broken fingers ('though, don't they usually splint those? Maybe double splints are hard to come by up your way...)?
Ennwayyy... I am a diabetic (no new news here) with a semi-numb right big toe. A very small patch, tiny, actually, so not enough to alarm me, yet. But both of my grandmothers were double amputees, soooooo...
Thus, I am a BIG fan of folks takin' care of themselves whenever they can, including if that means going to the doctor when your hand has doubled in size (see, I woulda took that as an indication that somethin' was... well... "wrong"...) so I give kudos to your son - he was lookin' out for you, like a good son should.
