any "reforms" the wts has ever made have been connected with the legal system ie money, and CYA.

According to Jewish Law the Sanhedrin could not address matters of Apostacy secretly or without the accused being present. The hearing had to be public and with the accused able to answer publicly.

JW disfellowshippings are secret and coercive in the extreme. Public knowledge relies on rumor and hearsay for the "facts".

Sorry, not trying to be mysterious.

Sometimes ones post here with inside info direct from the Society, and I was hoping for some confirmation the policy had been up for review. I really just asked a question.

It's inappropriate for me to say anything more, other than no change is on the horizon.
