I received my copy at noon today and have just now had to quit reading. I was appalled at the lengths the WTBS has gone to protect themselves in court. Especially in their objections to handing over documentation. (Discovery)
They twist, lie and maneuver words and the law. Such deceit. Kind of reminds me of the snake in the Garden of Eden.
Just my opinion, what's yours?

I feel for you, it takes intense concentration to get through all the legal documents. I am on the first case and got to page 228. The objections to producing documents are most telling to me.
I will not go into details so that its not ruined for someone else, but their arguments are outrageous.
It seems a "Christian" organization that is the "mouth piece of God" would behave as such with the secular authorities.

Purps, That is a good question. I am going to assume so. I'm sure legal in New York have connections across the US to other JW attorney's.
Remember that moron who was an attorney posting here? He had a website and continually defended JW's. His name started with an O. I think he was eventually shamed off of this site. I am sure he was looking for business from headquarters.

Bethel has a legal department with its own lawyers. I haven't looked into this deeply enough to know whether or not all the lawyers in these cases were JWs.
I remember the attorney who was posting here. Not sure just what his JW status was. Oribrous?? Something like that.

Maybe I'll forgo it here and read it on my notebook at home. As if everything else isn't enough, I don't mind getting thoroughly disgusted with them at this point. It will make some things a lot easier.
