There's no more spirituality in Bethel than in an IHOP; this is known. In fact, strike that: IHOP has more spirituality than Bethel, because that Rooty Tooty Fresh 'N Fruity is GODLY!!

The Watchtower Society has been on 'self preservation' mode for quite a few years now. This probably began once the internet hit town and the information highway became freely available to everyone who had the balls to take a look and find out what was really going on at Bethel!

The only people really running the show now are the lawyers. Watchtower lawyers are running scared of all the other lawyers 'out there' and the amount of edits that have taken place in CDs of older literature to avoid furthur embarrassment on 'old light' teachings may well count towards proving that point.

I don't think it's plausible that everyone in Beth Hell has died. Some of them do in fact die (they get old or sick, or get into accidents), and death is unavoidable even in Beth Hell. But, barring a major disaster, I highly doubt that everyone has died there. It is not wholly impossible, but very highly improbable.

However, it is certain that everyone in Beth Hell is spiritually and mentally dead. They make up rules that do not integrate with each other or with real life. Those working there are supposed to live the lie that the Puketower Society created, and they are not supposed to do any thinking (that's how they are mentally dead). Also, in the sense that they are all in stagnation traps, they are as good as all dead. But then again, they always were since its inception.

I doubt that they were ever truly "alive" in the spirit, and have been happily pumping out THEIR OPINIONS as "gospel truths" since I can remember. NONE of their predictions have ever come true, and they have NO CLUE what is going to happen---or when---but continue to "play the game" anyway.

The JWs lap up whatever they "currently teach" and see it as "truth".....and eagerly await "special inside info" from these spiritually dead old dudes.
