Do we know for a fact that the WTS research area doesn't subscribe to other religious material, such as Christianity Today? Have they quoted from such material in their magazines? Is it wrong to read the Catholic Encyclopedia?

I agree.. One would think that Jehovah's organization certainly wouldn't need the help of Satan to fulfill anything..
Another interesting question: If the UN is the beast of revelation, why do they quote the UN when it comes to Human rights? They certainly make it sound like they agree with their human rights policy, at least where JW's are concerned.. Could it be that Satan is NOT ALL bad? There are parts of the beast the the WTBTS likes? How revolting!

Apart from all the other comments, most of which I generally agree with, then why doesn't the WTS simply issue a press release that explains why it joined and why it left?
Also, why is it that the average JW refuses to accept that even a casual link (which this is not) could exist.
Your points are well taken, but if you've never been a JW it is hard to understand how significant this is.

serious guilt of doing for 10years, and in the same time,

If you go back a few pages you will find a lengthy thread from "BadWillie." Last night he and his wife were publicly reproved for discussing the UN issue with another dub. From the sounds of it the elders considered DF'ing them.
If this is all on the up and up, why chastise somebody for talking about it? The truth is the borg knows it violated its own rules and is trying to cover its tracks.
