Is this even near an accurate number? Is the Org fluffing these numbers?

There are 6.7 million publishers, so it is not too fluffed.

sort of like that 1 billion hours spent in field service is really maybe half a billion, if that. Factor in the over-estimating, the taking a door and then driving 2 hours to the territory, those who report fake time, all the "creative" pioneers, and all the witnesses counting time for things like quick builds and public talks (these are NOT field service, imo).

WHAT!? I could have booked some hours for quickbuilds and public talks? HEHE, (Insert evil laugh here)

Damn, I would have been a pioneer, for goodness sake!

    - "Will Satan's attack succeed? No."

This always blew me away when I was in the borg. How do they know that Satan will lose? Since the bible is everywhere, wouldn't Satan have known about this great battle, and wouldn't he have had time to prepare for it? What if Jehovah is full of shit and he loses?

Now that I'm out, I don't even have to answer those questions. Jehovah is full of shit, Satan is full of shit, and The Watchtower Society is full of shit.

    17. Satan and his followers will soon come against Jehovah's worshippers in an attempt to stamp
them out. (Ezekiel 38: 14-23) That will be part of what Jesus called the "great tribulation such as
has not occurred since the world's beginning until now, no, nor will occur again." (Matthew 24:21)
Will Satan's attack succeed? No. God's Word assures us, "Jehovah is a lover of justice, and he
will not leave his loyal ones. To time indefinite they will certainly be guarded; but as for the offspring
of the wicked ones, they will indeed be cut off. The righteous themselves will possess the earth,
and they will reside forever upon it."- Psalm 37:28, 29.

Does it seem like the GB knows what is coming and is trying to put a different spin on it? All the people leaving the organization...realizing the truth about the "truth?" People are learning from the internet about all the wrong-doings and mistakes and false prophecies that the FDS has done in the past and present. They are losing a lot of control and are sounding desperate. So when the JW's have another mass exodus like back in 1975, they'll just blame Satan and go on.

And once again, WHERE are we reading that there are 6.7 million publishers? I find it very hard to believe.

Keep in mind that they count "publishers," those that report some activity at least once every
6 months, but usually every month. Whether it's peak publishers or average publishers, it
includes many who are posters here who have not discontinued their "reporting" of JW activity.
To keep the number high, they allow many elderly and handicapped to report a minimum of
    15 minutes in a month.

That said, there are definitely NOT 6.7 million active JW's out there. There must be more than
a million who report something when they did nothing. I hope it's many more than a million.

This "nearly 7 million" report comes from their feeling a need to show continuous growth.

Jesus Christ Almighty! I could give you countless examples of how that statement is absolutely the biggest pile of pig shit ever written. God, they are desperate!

DAMN...why do I find derogatory comments about the Org and their practices so erotic?

This is the exact same pig sxxx I have heard so many times. It seems that every other series is about how Babylon the Great is going to be destroyed, Satan is going to launch an all-out attack on Jehovah's people, and then Jehovah is going to defend them by destroying Satan's followers and locking Satan and the demons up for a thousand years. And it goes on to say that they will be let loose for a time, and anyone that follows them (along with the demons themselves) will be destroyed.

No wonder I find the meetings so boring. No wonder so many people find the meetings so boring. This is the theme of most of the magazines (that is, the ones that don't beat people into submission by taking away all their fun). It always starts in Eden and ends up with the Great Tribulation. I wonder whether any of this pig manure is going to make it into the Kool-Aid editions, or if that will be the brow-beating and the Showcase Edition will contain this worn-out story.
