Thanks for that thought, nvr. It reminds me of Matthew Arnold's saying, "He who finds himself loses his misery."

Master Po speaking to Caine- in TV series Kung Fu

"GRASSHOPPER, BE YOUR SELF. AND NEVER FEAR THUS TO BE NAKED TO THE EYES OF OTHERS. YET, KNOW THAT MAN SO OFTEN MASKS HIMSELF. THAT WHAT IS SIMPLE IS RARELY UNDERSTOOD. THE DUST OF TRUTH SWIRLS, AND SEEKS ITS OWN CRACKS OF ENTRY. AND A TREE FALLING IN THE FOREST, WITHOUT EARS TO HEAR, MAKES NO SOUND. YET IT FALLS."–

Yes indeed Nvr- Lots of us go through these tough times , some more often than others, emotionally, mentally, financially, physically. Nice to know we all have people that care here, an outlet.

Certain things I read and hear help me personally to stay positive. Read a psychology book, "Gestalt Therapy Verbatim" talked about working through stifling situations in life and breaking through in a positive way. One of the authors quotes was, " To suffer one's death and to be reborn , is not easy. " Found that comforting somehow.

Also some might remember this Jethro Tull song," Nothing Is Easy".

" Nothing is Easy, you'll find that the squeeze won't turn out so bad. Your fingers may freeze, worse things happen at sea, there's good times to be had. So if you're alone and you're down to the bone, just give us a play, just stay with me awhile and you'll see I'll get you happy my way. Nothing's Easy."

Anyway, I try to listen to music, it puts lots of upbeat moods in me when I feel stress. I believe the great John Lee Hooker called the blues style of music , " a healer ". Me and my wife have found that over the years, can be a great comfort. Just wanted to contribute a few thoughts on this overcoming stress thing. Peace out to all who are stressed. Mr. Flipper
