It might cost them a few members, but the majority will be
told that it is the satan-controlled media distorting the facts
again, and they will accept that and carry on.
It might make the ministry interesting for a while though.

its a beast. is will not die suddenly but fade away.
the numbers will start to decrease (what slows down the decrease in the same second since to many jws it will mean that end is NEAR™), but it will continue and around the end of this or the next century it may will be so small that noone notices it anymore.
