Two types of cancer in both her upper and lower jaws. Melanoma in the top jaw, squamous cell carcinoma in the lower. Both are bad cancers. I have to take her for blood work and xrays today to determine if there is anything that can be done, other than keep her comfortable.

I lost a dog to a similar cancer a few years ago, it was the most painful awful thing.
I think my older cat has cancer. He's got two bumps on the back of his neck that are getting bigger. It's really not worth taking him to the vet since he's so old.
You have my sympathies. It sucks losing a long-loved pet.
