Has anyone read this book? While the author's writing style is pedantic and he seems to be too full of himself, he makes some very interesting points about religion. I'm about half way through.

Yeah I read it. It was okay. It did give the impression of having been hastily written to jump of the atheism publication bandwagon though.

I just finished reading it and I thought it was GREAT! If you go on YouTube you have hear him talking about his book. I really recommend it.

Hitchens is full of himself; he's also one of the finest minds writing in the English language.

I have it. Love the premise, agree with it: "religion ruins everything".

I did not finish it. He makes his point early on and the rest is fluff.

I have it (the book and the audio book) and actually agree with the points he makes.

I read it last month and it is a good read. I loved it.

My husband is reading it now and he laughs about it every day, and wonders how we didn't see these things before.

Of course, we weren't ready to see them.
