Yes, I've heard it said that when there's a lot of acting out such as when one may get extra-preachy, it is actually kind of a death knell, a last ditch effort for that way of thinking to preserve itself.

If you tell them the end will not come because the gospel hasn't yet been preached in the whole world eg Moslem countries they will not be pleased. They don't want the end to be delayed so they will say something silly like their opposing governments have been warned (really, when?) and that equates to preaching the gospel to everyone in those countries.
Hmm it's not the same like a JW talking to someone personally, not that they ever preach the true gospel but the poor Moslems will get a rough deal instead of a fair chance. We are talking here about eternal extinction at armageddon.
