    Go to http://www.simpsonizeme.com/ click on 'Simpsonize Yourself', upload a photo of yourself, must be at least 640 x 480 pixels, colour. wait...

    Select wheter your a dude of chick, your age, what colour skin you want your simpson pic to be, style of clothing and style of hair

    The program will then load your photo with the two aliens standing in front of it ready with their ray guns, hit the 'Simpsonize' button...

    Voila! Your now a Simpsons character!

    You can then further tweak your picture, give yourself a pair of nice earrings etc.

    How do I make an avatar? Figure you have time for one serious question.

    It's quite easy actually. First, you click on your name in the top left hand corner, this takes you to your details page. Here you can change your password, add (or edit) a biography, change your location or add/change your avatar. The easiest option is to select 'Upload a picture from my computer' click on the 'Browse' button. Usually WinXP will store your pictures in your 'My Pictures' folder. Select your picture, then click on 'Open'. Then, all you need to do is click on the 'Update' button in the bottom left hand corner and you're done! Don't sweat if you don't see the change straight away, it's quite common for it to take a while. Sometimes your avatar can pop up straight away and then disappear for a bit. That's normal too.
