As with your scenic world views blogspot, I'd recommend you put a few pics and links to fuller articles in too. Then if people find your site via Google, see that you're up-to-date AND that they can rely on your spot to provide a good link to full info, they'll be more likely to favourite it and maybe recommend it to others. As it is now, they see a snippet on your blog and then they have to go back to Google to seek more info.
