What ? Public speaking for money ? Hell he can't even speak as a leader without it being written down and then he still can barely read. This guy is the biggest moron we have ever had as a president. He is also the one with the lowest IQ and his papa is the second lowest. I cannot wait till this dumb dumb is out of office, he has destroyed our countries reputation drastically.

That's missing the point. The objection is with closing a whole country for a day!! If things are really that bad for the poor guy, he should stay where he feels safe but, honestly, how over the top can this be? Of course, it might be hard to think of shutting down New York for a day but that's what's happening here. That's the offense, not any silly Bush hating or whatever a paranoid merry can might think.

Actually sweetstuff, with all due respect, he wouldn't be president if your statement were factual. He was elected by majority vote, which means that the majority of Americans who showed up at the polls DID vote for him. Whether some regret it now or disagree with choices he has made since then is really beside the point. Wouldn't it make sense that the security measures (which the powers in your country hold the ultimate say in) are for ALL 21 attendees and their staff and NOT just George Bush? I thought this was the Asia Pacific Economic Co-operation summit? My mistake, I must have missed the news broadcast where they re-named it the George Bush Economic Co-operation Summit. I'll go look again.

I don't think any city should be shut down to it's citizens. Gadzooks, sounds like something China or the old Soviet Union would do.
