I hope Pavarotti will be in the "choir" of the 144,000. After all, the scripture does call them a choir, not a goup of JW "saints".
He will certainly be missed by me. So sad. What a gift he gave us all.
How wonderful to be able to achieve in life doing what we enjoy most and to do it so well. To find an expression and comfort in this existence that at the same time gives happiness to others.
What a great man. What a great loss.

Beautiful, just beautiful. Thanx for posting that video link, Frozen One.
I am in shock over the world's loss of this talented man. He drew me, as well as millions of non-opera fans into his jubilant arena in the past few decades. He turned the classical world on it's ear with his melodious and meticulous approach to the art. When I saw the news report, I teared up, for in the world in which he dwelt few have ever done so much to promote the glory of the human instrument.
I shall not forget your romantic invitation to me, Mr Pavarotti, to enjoy the sweetness of your vocals. Rest in Peace.
