I don't think we have exactly cornered the market on this one. Many religions preach an "end" to mostly wicked mankind. Many US Christian faiths teach not only people, but also the entire plantet consumed with fire! And the people don't really even get to die, just a little Sterno under their toes for all Eternity!! lets pick on everybody....oompa

When I was a JW, (third generation with anointed grandmother and DO for an uncle) I fully believed that JWs would be the only ones to survive armageddon. In my experience all JWs believed that way. I even remember talks that made the point that a person's reaction to the "good news" when approached by a JW would determine whether they would be on a course of life or death. They taught that the organization was the "Ark" and that one had to be on that ark to survive.
I know in recent years the society has tried to soften that message to be more appealing to the public..but if you really believe that Jehovah is the judge, and that you don't have to be a JW to survive armageddon...then why join in the first place?.

why are JW's doing this converting work, and trying to convert people into JW's to save them?
Why not just let GOD do the judging of their hearts?
Oh, and if God doesn't like destroying innocent people,
then why are JW's taught that children of JW's who stop going to meetings will be destroyed?
Tell me why I was taught that all those starving children in Africa and third world countries who don't even get the chance to be preached to, are going to be destroyed at Armegeddon, well, because they are children and they don't count -
just like all the children who died in the flood?

Thanks for calling me a selfish idiot. By the way did you not know that the only people to be destoyed at Armageddon are the wicked, and thankfully so. I for one am feed up with the SELFISH hedonistic wicked idiots that think they can attack rob, murder rape maim and treat people the innocent and animals so cruely, so I say bring on Jehovah's day and get rid of the wicked, because that is what Armageddon is suppose to be about.

Have you learned nothing from reading the bible, the book you aspire God's holy spirit to? ?Looking forward to the destruction of any soul, including the wicked, is of itself a sin. Jesus taught love and forgiveness. While you hate the sin, you love the sinner right? Loving someone and looking forward to their "coming destruction on Jehovah's Day" are two very different things my dear. What was that scripture hmm, for God loved the world SO MUCH, he gave his only begotten son. Now, do you really think your God is looking down on you, smiling with approval over this comment. A true christian would feel sorrow and pain of the sins they see, and seek forgiveness and help for the sinner, not sitting on the sidelines with a bag of popcorn, watching the show, screaming YEEHAWW!! GO GET EM GOD!!
