From an almost-dentist (I'm in the 5th year of studying) the last molars, are IDENTICAL to modern human ones, 1st lower molar has 5 cusps, and 2nd lower molar has 4 cusp, so there is full coincidence, no wisdom molar is shown, so it can be inferred that this jaw is from a juvenile... And in the other hand I see more than usual space for the premolars and canine, it seems that in the image we have 2 molars, 2 premolars, 1 canine and 1 incisor, but there is plenty of space there for more incisors, OR the shape of the mandible were more of a V than a U.

My understanding is that Austrolopithecines had a V shaped jaw which appears to be the case with the image Perry posted. That species, 3 million years ago, had a cranial capacity that averaged 450cc whereas ours is 1100cc.

Juvenile jaw bone without the wisdom teeth seems more likely than Village Idiot's assessment.

Why do I doubt that you have anything other than exactly zero qualifications to make any kind of anthropological assessement?

Believe what you want Vivane. I'm unconvinced. It looks identical to my molars. That's my qualifications.....common sense.

So, exactly zero, as I suspected. Besides which, believing in invisible sky people and a guy that kills millions, including babies and endorses rape is an example of love doesn't convince your common sense is actually common sense.

It's no so much "believe what you want" as it is "this is all you've given me to work with".

    Vivane,

This is not about you. It's about a jawbone. Make up your own mind. I'm unconvinced.

No one ever said it was about me in any way. Stop trying to change to subject.

You're unconvinced because you have a faith in a murderous blood god that kills, rapes and murders but somehow convinced you that all means love. That and you have exactly zero qualifications, training or education to make any valid, reasonable or debatable conclusion regarding fossils.
