I got in major major trouble for singing and listening to Rod Stewarts "Tonights the Night" and Exiles "Kiss you all Over"
Ugh.. will never forget that... major major doom.. my gran called the elders... how sinful of me But it was OKAY to watch National Geographic with all the neeekid people's running around.. get that irony?
And I remember my gran saying.. the old song.. Blueberry Hill was pornographic as it was talking about someones boobies... omg.. how crazy....... " I found my thrill on blueberry hill.. now how is that pornographic unless your a tad bit twisted?
LTF
...and here I thought "Blueberry Hill" was somewhere you parked.
Oh well - I liked "Another One Bites the Dust" by Queen.
But did you know -- all the Witnesses seemed to say it -- it had BACKWARD MASKING!! Play it backwards and it said "decide to smoke marijuana". Yes Freddie Mercury was used by the Debbil to poison the minds of Jehovah's kidz.
I would often be singing parts of the tune "X Gonna Give It to You" by DMX
"Knock, knock open up the door and spread 'em"
I liked Marilyn Manson's "The Beautiful People." http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HCgBVvYDd_g
I loved the song Losing My Religion by REM. Used to play it loud and proud and sing along with vigor. I still like it. I think I wanted out a long time ago, but just couldn't manage it at the time.

Well at this point I wasn't a dub.. but.. dating the now ex... I went to the Cult concert with friends in my early 20's... and was told by him that he wouldnt go to some Cult thing.... He wouldnt go with me, even though he considered himself an athiest Great concert though!
Now I'de say.... well.. grew up in a Cult.. why not continue... And I'm sure now he would look back and say.. yea should have known.. she had horns
Losing my Religion... a major fave.. listening now... I always wondered while watching the video if they may have been ex dubs... ex something anyhow...
Ironically, "Losing My Religion" is not about religion. Here's an explanation from Wikipedia:
"Losing My Religion" is an expression from the southern region of the United States, and means losing one's temper or civility, or "flying off the handle". The song itself was described by singer and lyricist Michael Stipe as covering similar thematic ground to "Every Breath You Take" by The Police, and is, despite the title and the video, entirely irreligious in its subject matter. He has also stated that the song was inspired by the Sinead O'Connor song "The Emperor's New Clothes".
