Aside from the money that Barbara Anderson has poured into this project -- as nothing more than a labor of love -- I hope that all of us will stop for a moment and consider the personal risk she has taken. Aside from the thousands that it would have taken for her to put this project together out of pocket, she has taken a huge personal risk on behalf of all of us by knowingly taking on a set of billion dollar corporations with 1st rate legal teams. Think of the *potential* legal implications. What guts. She's an absolute hero to me.

I am not prepared to spend $29.95 for a CD that I am not able to access in a library or through an aquaintance, or some other means of "look see" before shelling out the bucks.
Everything in the CD is available to the public, just go to each and every court that Barbara Anderson went to and request the public information about the cases. That or buy the CD and support her efforts for what she did so we don't have to...

Barbara is, not at all interested in making a ton of money from this CD or the follow up book (that’s just how she is) unlike the tax-free non-profit organization they help expose.
Whether or not SOME of the information eventually shows up for free downloading, stealing (that cracks me up), or just reading, is entirely up to her or the bonehead who takes the time to extract some of the PDF file pages or type it all out to try and look important in the tiny little kingdom of exJWdom.
Most of the information is public domain, not copyright protected material, so I don’t think she is going to sweat it all that much right now. She didn’t put it all together to get rich or famous. She did it all for you/us boneheads.
It’s not like it’s revealing the copyright protected secrets of the alien directed end of the world in the OT-8 level from the warped mind of L. Ron Hubbard and Scientology for crispy shakes. (but if you type in some of those words in any search engine you can read it)
Nor is it the next secret and highly guarded transcript of the Hairy Potty books.
Danny…billions and billions? Are you sure about that figure?
The kid has a valid point. It shows some depth of character, in a standing on your head and looking at the world upside down, kind of way.
This whole episode is not over yet.
Stay tuned to your local apostate stations.

Homerovah the Almighty
Sounds like a must read.......from my post just made on a other Canadian issue..
It isn't all too surprising, many pedophiles lurk and hide themselves under cover so to speak, in amongst the righteous people of churches or this case kingdom halls
The JWS always claimed that it was always the other Satan controlled religions like the Catholics for example, but the problem was with them just as well.
They would never openly admit it of courses. the only reason the Catholics had to admit they had a problem is because the media force it upon them.
Allot evil can be covered up with the white sheet of righteous as the general public is starting to realize, even at the kingdom halls.
There is after all a public relations clause that states that are particular religious faith is pure, good and righteous unlike the others around.

I guess it is okay to steal from the WT, but it is not okay to steal from anyone else?
The Watchtower Society does NOT sell literature so how can downloading it be stealing it?
As they said in their 2/9/1990 letter to all BOE in the US and its Territories - "... Although we have always offered the Society's literature on a contribution basis, Supreme Court decisions [Jimmy Swaggart case] have opened the way for secular authorities to possibly categorize our literature disbribution as commercial activity. To prevent this misportrayal of the spiritual nature of our activity and to continue to give the good news of the Kingdom the widest possible distribution, we are adjusting the Society's literature distribution arrangement.
... the Society is adjusting its method of literature distribution by going to a complete donation method. This will underline the fact that we are not motivated by financial interests when preaching the good news. We are 'not peddlers of the word of God as many men are, but as out of sincerity, yes, as sent from God,' we are declaring the good news of the Kingdom." [emphasis added]
My father's family donated over $500,000 to the Society last year. I will never donate one red cent to the WTS and will download any publication with a free conscience.

I am really pissed off that some one would request a free download of work, available to the public but not willing to do themselves.
It takes hours upon hours to get into various court records.
GET REAL! someone did the work, organized the records, and probably spent months if not years doing it, and you want it for free??????????????
Get over your self.

CBLD:
comparable to the WT CD Library (which has been made available as an ISO file
yes and that is called piracy. The WTBT$ did not authorize those fiels....and it is against the license both in plain english and the legalese on the CD.. even though the Society does not deserve a dime, we dont need to take the same moral low road by downloading a pirated copy....I ordered mine through the congo and paid something for it...not a lot, but something. (hey, even the cheap CD games at Best Buy are $5 or $10)
I often order books on Amazon without seeing a copy at the bookstore or the library ...usually based on friends recommendations. purps just recommended 3 to me and I just ordered them...so I figure her recommendation is good enough for me...or I could go to the library and read their copy...since they already paid for it.
Choosing Life:
I did spring for a copy od the CD and consider it money well spent
CBLD, many here have ordered and started reading through Ms. Andersons research. I know Choosing Life, and if she says it is worth the cost, then I will take her at her word...if I decide to obtain a copy...i will PAY FOR IT....

I agree with you. However, I am guilty of having copied WT information that has been offered from this site. I note that information is still being offered and there is no chorus of "How dare you??!!" greeting those efforts.
I had always assumed that the motivation behind the sharing was to distribute the information as far and as wide as possible. If that was the motivation, it should apply to Anderson's CD as well. So I asked.
However it appears that the anti-WT sentiment here is so strong, that anything that shafts the WT is acceptable amd encouraged as long as it is the WT who is shafted. Anything that shafts the WT is acceptable and encouraged as long as one does not pirate the non-WT author.
I did check the local library and I did a search of the national library system. Secrets of Pedophilia in an American Religion is not in the holdings. An oversight on the CD's distributors I guess. I can wait.

Then don't read it. It's pretty simple isn't it?
I would always treat a multi-billion dollar company different to an individual esp. when I know the motive behind what they do is completely different.
