You give up a lot of information about your situation. "I was raised in the truth" is a dead give away of "where you are", you were in the truth, the truth was not in you. So after following yur folks to the meetings and out in service, the motions you went throught from birth no longer have a hold on you, because they were not your own. You saw enough through the borg about other religions that you can only condem them. You inner beliefs are the only things important to you, they are yours. You will be supried at how many truths other organizations have, if you exaime them, none of them have them all.

It is better to know the truth about the universe rather than persist in a delusion, no matter how comforting.

No one is ever comfortable when pretending to be something they are not. It always blows up in their face anyway, so it is wiser to be who you ARE, even if you are not quite sure that who or what that IS yet. THAT is okay too!

At your age, it is better to admit you are still searching...rather than trying to fit into a mold of someone else's making.

I SO agree with the be yourself messages, let me tell you, settling and pretending may get you laid (hypothetically) but it is a sure guarantee to an unhappy relationship, not to mention it will be really hard to live like that.

Go find a hot athiest chick, and college is a good bet.
