One of the big turnoffs is the temperatures in Thailand.
All that I am reading now tells me it is damned hot all year long there. 95 F for most of the year, with a little drop off during the rainy season to the mid 80's.
A few years ago I knew a Jw brother who moved for a few months to Quito Ecuador. His reason was to 'pioneer' there. But as far as temps go, that place being almost 10,000 feet in elevation, although right on the Equator, has the most even temps I have ever known. 65 for daytime highs, 50F at night. And a look at Weather.com will show that is year round. That is appealing to me. Perhaps I am focusing on the wrong continent?
