The society is hard against them.
I have resisted temptation to call up non JW friends and get them to figure out the KM songs so that I can join and cause trouble.
It would probably be a bad idea though.
They could have come up with a better security system. I hope for the members sakes that they do not come under harm because of it, at the same time, flat rational me says, that they get what they deserve.
I remember one DO saying that no self respecting christian would go on those sites, I really hoped nobody in that audience was a member, when I looked on the site though, people in our district were indeed there. -

When I first got my internet connection I signed up on one out of amusement. I still knew the secret handshake so why not?
Next morning I had 5 emails from all over the globe so I immediately cancelled.
Once in a while I have some sense of decency.

What amazes me about these site is some of the things the "brothers" post. ........SCANDALOUS!!!!

Back when I was still single - I signed up on one of the JW sites - just for fun.
I looked at a few profiles... but they were scary. Always looking for the 'brother to lead' sort of thing.
In my profile, I said NOTHING about the religion - pro or con. In fact, I used the same info that I had written up for one of the other non-JW dating sites I was on.
Anyway - I pretty much left it be. Then I started getting gals trying to e-mail me. I replied - politely - to them, and one in particular continued to send e-mails. She finally came out and asked if I was still a JW. I replied that I wasn't - but used to be one. She then wanted to know if I was going to go back. I replied - no.
It got to the point where she accused me of lying to her - and signing up on their JW dating site under false pretenses. I asked her what SHE was doing on a dating site - when the folks in Brooklyn frowned on any internet activities like that. I don't think that she liked that very much - she never replied.
I feel sorry for those folks.
