His speech to the UN today was extremely religious. He made repeated references to a savior who would soon bring peace. Did anyone else get the heebie-jeebies that listened to his speech?

We have Christians and Muslims, both believing their Messiahs will return after a time of world war, indeed hoping for it, in control of or in the possible hope of controlling nuclear weapons. Apparently Ahmadinejad claims he was “directed by Allah to pave the way for the glorious appearance of the Mahdi” by instigating global chaos so that his savior can save it. Does anyone seriously believe that the world is not on a irreversible collision course with the rise of Islamo-fascism? We are witnessing the rise of "Nazism" all over again.

Good point. When I have made the point to JWs at how similar these religions are and they have been talking about cataclysm forever the response is that it proves JWs have the Truth!!! Go figure. Apparantly Satan knows Armageddon is coming so gets his false religions to predict it as well. That humans are able to indulge such false logic does not speak well for human intelligence.
