THEREFORE SHOULD TRUE CHRISTIANS ENTER SUCH A BUILDING?

nothing seems to stop wtbs from getting their library cards....
Are you talking about "true Christian" or JWs? JWs are not true Christians despite their claims!
OUR library is an old church that was converted into the Library a few years ago.....they left the beautiful stained glass windows just as they were. I feel this is NOT a problem...for ME anyway, LOL!
With the exception of the one in any Kingdom Hall---I just LOVE libraries!

Not only that, this is a place where people do "research". We all know that's "evil".

Here's an idea: Petition the government to make the library system a private institution (as per individual) for the public sector, therefore making it a nuisance just to have JW's around the place. Possibly even harassment.
I say yes.
They should get on the public internet stations, and do some "private" research on their cultish little religion.
If WTBTS were consistent, so many things would be done away with.
Example:
It's not Wednesday. Wednesday is from Woden's Day (AKA Woten's Day/Odin's Day), and therefore, we will not use that pagan appellation. We will now call this day Theocratic IV.
(In ancient times Woten/Odin was linked with Mercury/Hermes, and that is why in Romance languages you have things like Mercredi (Fr.) and MiƩrcoles (Sp.).
Repeat for other six days.
Tiger,
In Rutherford's era the WTS developed its own, non-pagan calendar with Theocratic (tm) names for months & days of the week. It flopped big-time.
They came to realize that they had to live in the real world, and that the constant translation between the "Theocratic" names and "worldly" calendar words was difficult.
I never heard that before...in fact I went there often as a student (and a dub at the time) I never noticed a statue of Lucifer. Actually drove by there last week. Do you know who the artist was? . I'll be in Boston all day tomorrow... I'll have to check it out.

Here's the Boston Public Library's page showing some of its interior and artwork: http://www.bpl.org/guides/history.htm
