July 26th 1961. All I could find was that the musician Gary Cherone was born on the same day, he is into hard rock (Extreme, Van Halen) which I don't like.

According to Wiki, NOTHING happened on the day I was born, but, and you're going to LOVE this, according to another site, guess what was released on my birthday!!:

Strangely, that was the book that we studied when my family became Witnesses in the early 1960s, and I think I knew then that it was released on my b'day!

And then I found this, which for a writer, is just so fitting:
